Wing Chun is a wonderful mixture of hard and soft, internal and external – yin and yang. It develops the mind, body, and spirit rather than just a total emphasis on being more brutal, tough and aggressive than the other person.
Wing Chun Kung Fu is a martial art from China, tracing its roots back many hundreds of years. There are various theories as to its origins; however one thing is for certain…its effectiveness as a martial art, for physical self-defence, but also as a method to gain a greater control of your body and mind.
Peter Andre and his two children actually found their way to Wing Chun via our very own school and to this day continue to train with Master Paul Hawkes, both at the school and in private lessons.
The late Bruce Lee started his Martial Arts journey in Wing Chun Kung Fu, and actor Robert Downey Jr is an avid Wing Chun enthusiast. Unfortunately we weren’t quite lucky enough to have them train with us as well as Peter we’re just a little too much of a commute from Hollywood.
