Hong Kong Day 8: Meeting the Ving Tsun Museum Curator Sifu Benny Meng

This evening I went out for coffee with Sifu Benny Meng and Sifu Sergio.

Sifu Benny Meng is the principle founder and curator for the Ving Tsun Museum.  He’s travelled extensively around the world to research the roots of Wing Chun (Ving Chun, VingTsun, WingTsun), training methods and applications in nearly every Wing Chun lineage.

My head was alread briming with lots of new informaton from the trip so far … so Sifu Benny Meng went and topped it up with some of the most in-depth and clearest explanations of many fundamental Wing Chun concepts (including the Wing Chun gates).

Yet another great evening and here you see can see me shouting over a bus and buzzing like a small child!

Keep an eye on the blog because there’s footage of a lesson with Grandmaster Cheng Kwong coming up … !
